oh, no!

Oh, no! I started getting comment spam. ARGH! I'd gone so long without it, but alas, the spammers found me. So, sorry for the inconvenience but I'll be turning on the word verification for the comments. Sorry. I held out as long as I could.

In other news, no huge updates yet. Rodrigo is waiting for a written offer from the Tucson company and is heading over to the Scottsdale company tomorrow. His local job has made him a very generous offer but he is waiting to hear from the other two before we make any major decisions. I've gone from being nervous to being excited. Although I still feel like things are on hold.
Nothing major has happened with me either. A lot of coworkers have had their vacation weeks recently and so the rest of them have had to cover for them. Needless to say, I feel like I've been living at work.

In prosaic news (is that an oxymoron?) . . . .
- We tried Coke Blak. Eh. It really does taste just like coffee candy. I was more surprised at the price than impressed by the taste.
- I realized that it had been a little over a year since I'd bought myself any clothes other than work uniforms and I bought myself some really cute pants and an adorable top. I can't believe it had been so long but, well, I have a lot of clothes and now that I wear a uniform to work, my clothes just last longer.
- I took a silly little online quiz and I was very pleased to see that the couple we are most like is Gwynneth and Chris. They are my absolute fave couple. I LOVE, love, love them.
- I am again obsessed with American Idol. Luckily I have DVR and so I still get to watch it even though it is not live. I think I'll dedicate a post to this obsession. Soon.

feeling: super proud of the delish dinner I made today
listening to: Tool (Schism)

Ooh, I just took the quiz and we're like you. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin or Kate Winslet and Sam Raimi.
I love that shirt!

yay for new clothes! Hope all goes well with the job/relocation decision. And I tried the new Coke Blak too, it it just tasted like coffee and cola mixed together. It freaked out my mind.

Comment spam sucks! I like that they have the word verification option and I'm with jesser, it's often amusing.

I hate comment spam, too! And I don't mind the word verification, although sometimes the words are hard to read and it takes me like 4 times to get it right!:)

I loved American Idol last year. This year, it's just slowly growing on me. I mainly watch to see Catherine and Taylor. I could take or leave the rest.

And next Thursday, check out my review of Coke Blak in the Times!

Is it just me or does Taylor on AI look about 30 years old? If I so much as see his face pop up on my screen, I flip the channel so fast. Not that I lingered on AI after season 2.
