t-shirts

I don't really wear t-shirts but I love looking at them online. Especially funny ones. I was browsing through del.icio.us yesterday and I found a site that had a whole lot of t-shirt shops.

With t-shirts like this one, Busted Tees was my favorite. I like the Greece and the South Korea ones. Well, I like a lot of those.

From Think Geek I would HAVE to buy these two for Rodrigo. The second one made me feel a little sad. I'm a dork for understanding it.

If I were a fashionable baby, I'd wear this shirt. Of course, I'd have a super hard time finding it. They're all sold out now that Shiloh has made this the latest baby fashion trend.

Ok, now for World Cup updates

our weekend

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Our's was pretty busy. Rodrigo and I went back to Tucson for the weekend to meet with our realtor. I feel we got a lot done and have now decided the area where we want to live in. We were not able to make any sort of offer yet since this house is not on the market.
We went without the kids and it was the first time ever that Alec had spent the night away from us. They stayed at my parent's house and although I was crying on the way to Tucson (because I was already missing them), they really had a fun time there without us.
Saturday we spent all day looking at houses and comparing areas and prices. For dinner we went to a restaurant named Miguel's. This restaurant was listed as "New Latin American Cuisine" so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It Was Delicious! I had some cochinita pibil and Rodrigo had a poblano chile relleno stuffed with chicken and topped with mole. YUM! I hate to admit it but it was kind of nice to dine at a place where we couldn't have taken the kids.

All weekend I carried around my dork notebook where I have all the World Cup matches and now the scores. Here is a recap. . .

Friday:
Germany beat Costa Rica 4-2
Ecuador beat Poland 2-0

Saturday:
ENGLAND beat Paraguay 1-0
Trinidad & Tobago tied with Sweden
Argentina beat Cote d'Ivoire 2-1

Sunday
Mexico beat Iran 3-1
Netherlands beat Serbia & Montenegro 1-0
Portugal beat Angola 1-0

scheduled for Monday is

Italy vs Ghana
USA vs. Czech Republic and
Australia vs. Japan

Well, off to unpack and get things ready for the week.

who knew?

Wow, who knew that the banker guy I work with and joke around with also has really good taste in music? By "good taste" I mean that I like it. I've been asking around for iPod suggestions and yesterday banker guy and I were talking about music. He asked me if I had any songs from The Cure and if I could make an MP3 for him. I said of course I have The Cure but told him I was surprised he liked them. I always figured him for a hip hop type of guy. Then he started talking about The Bravery and Bloc Party. I was completely shocked that he even knew about these bands. Absolutely stunned. I asked him for recommendations and he suggested that I listen to Pretty Girls Make Graves and Kill Me Tomorrow. Good deal because I wasn't familiar with either of them. I, in turn, introduced him to the Arctic Monkeys. Ooh, new music!

Also, who knew that pecan pie actually tasted good. Let me explain. I had never, ever, ever in my life tasted pecan pie. I always say that I don't like it but the truth is that I don't like the way it looks. I don't like the goo. You know, the egg and syrup part. Eww. As a kid, I convinced myself it was some sort of slime and just never tasted it. Rodrigo brought some home on Tuesday night. He and the kids were eating some and were saying it was good. Well, I had some yesterday morning with some coffee and I liked it. Of course I had to take the first bite with my eyes closed but after that I was ok. I've been missing out.

requests

Every now and then I get tired of the music I have on my iPod. Yesterday was one of those days. I had it on the "shuffle songs" setting and I kept skipping songs. Now, these are all songs I really like but for some reason I just wasn't in the mood to hear most of them.
I was talking about this at work and asked a co worker to name me five songs that he just could not live without. "If you could only listen to five songs for the rest of your life, which ones would they be?" He could only name one for sure: Kashmir, but I already have that. So, now I'm asking the same of you guys. Could you please suggest some songs? I really want to add some different things onto my iPod.
Oh, and you're reading this and don't comment, you are an absolute codfish and you'll have to live with that.

I don't know if you read a entry I posted yesterday, but I've deleted it. It was a link to pictures of Baby Shiloh, but they were removed for legal reasons. No one can post the pictures yet since People magazine paid $4 million for them and won't be released until tomorrow. I hated the fact that I only had a broken link. She is really beautiful, though and has THE lips.

finally flickr

I've had a flickr account for about a year and half. I've uploaded a couple of photos then removed them over and over again. I've wanted a flickr badge for the longest time then just gave up. Then I rebelled and said I would never put one on my page. I just didn't know what tags I wanted. Also, I'm really partial to my Kodak gallery.
When I joined the Pirate Rubber Duckie group a few months ago, I knew I had to do something soon. Still, I kept uploading and deleting pictures.
Anyway, I was messing around with flickr again last night and the tag that made the most sense is "Food!" I tend to take pictures of our food, so I uploaded a few of the food related pictures I have. Suddenly, I think I have a few more tags in mind. Inspiration, finally.
So, now you can see my flickr badge on the right. I know it's not centered but I have to get going now. I'll fix it later. :P

*Nevermind, I fixed it.
